I've been searching, and from what I've read, a 400ex, trx450r, and yfz450r throttle cables would work fine for a crf450 carb. I don't guess that one works better that the other, but would these three work with a crf250r carb. I don't have the motor yet so I haven't had the chance to look at it. Thanks

Depends what carb the CRF250R uses, if it's an FCR carb like the CRF450 then yes, a TRX450R throttle cable would work fine.

Whatever motor you use is irrelavant, it's what carb you are using and what throttle housing you are using on the handle bars. I had two hybrids, each with the CRF FCR carb. On one I used a 400EX thumb throttle and a Yamaha throttle cable, can't remember what dirt bike it came from though, sorry! The other hybrid I used a TRX450R thumb throttle assembly and a TRX450R throttle cable, each worked fine.

I haven't really looked into what carb the crf250r has. It's an '05 stock carb.
