building a 350 esr p/v w/ lightened fly wheel....what s the deal with usuing the stock ignition? i want to run my stock light. ive heard some people say stock ign is no prob......any info would help....thanks

With the big bore motor a stock ignition will work ok but you need to gap your spark pluk at .018 or the spark will be blown out by the increased compression.

I use a ricky stator rewound stator on both of my R's and also gap the plugs to .018 and have never had a problem, Light output is way better also. Good luck.

what about increasing the spark with say jannsen's super coil inline spark enhabcer?

Iridium plugs are a bit more expensive, but they spark better in a high-compression environment.
