DOES ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE TC PIPE ON A 400EX? HOW ARE THE GAINS? DO YOU RUN THE OPEN TIP OR DISKS? DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO DRILL A HOLE IN YOUR FRAME TO MOUNT IT? HOW LOUD IS IT? DO THE DISKS MAKE IT ALOT QUIETER?

I love mine, gians i think are more mid-top, but its hard to say becuase i put my TC cam and did all the engne work and the pipe at one time. Mine mounted up just fine. I htink they are worth the money. If u want the most power, run the open end cap.

The Tc Slip ons are 319.00. I am not sure as to weather he has them in stock but sometimes it takes him a while to get them in and make them. I am eother getting a Tc Pipe and Cam this Winter or I am getting a Curtis Sparks Pipe adn Cam.(X-6) Either way you go you will be more then happy.

I put a TC pipe on mine and it made it run like it has a 505 stroker motor in it or something!:D
I really like the pipe, it sounds good!!!

I have heard of this happining. That Tom makes some pipes a little bit diff from teh others and the diff ones really turn your 400 into a Monster 505

I have the stock headpipe on it!!!
Extreme, going from around 30-35 horses to well over 60 with just adding a pipe was worth 3k to me:D

i dont get how the stock headpipe works for such a big bore motor.. i mean 400's have a good headpipe stock.. but 505 thats big:eek:

An aftermarket headpipe would give Chad some more power, but he may lose bottom end and TC likes bottom end. I think a Powerbomb would go good with the TC. Only thing you have to do is cut 5 1/2 inches off your stock headpipe.

Is there a header that would work with the TC pipe?? Besides a powerbomb,,,doesnt a powerbomb reduce noise level??

I think a Pro Circuit will....but im not 100% positive. Im pretty sure its the same diameter, but just comes together differant then the stock one.
either way you will still have to cut the powerbomb or the procircuit down 5 inches or whatever it is.

One Guy used a Big Gun header. I`m not sure on the Pro Circuit. I would get a Powerbomb if I was to do that anyways. Cutting the Pipe down is not a big deal.

He used a Big Gun header with a TC pipe?? The old Big Gun headers arent any bigger than the stock pipes! I think the newer ones are supposed to be bigger?? I might try a larger headpipe soon!

how would a big gun work, it is a differant configuration. U have to use one that is compatible witha stock muffler, and a big gun isnt unless they cahnged it. The proc circuit and the FMFs are the only ones i know of that will. Ill stick with my stocker, prob. the best one out there!
