"new" honda hp4s fully synthetic oil released last month.. wondering if anybody's tried it yet? reason new is in quotations is i've heard its more or less mobil's synthetic without the moly.

found this on google..

· HP4S is American Honda’s first fully synthetic 4-stroke oil

· HP4S is available in 10w30 viscosity only

· HP4S is compatible with synthetic blends such as HP4, as well as regular petroleum products like GN4. In other words, customers can switch to (and from) HP4S without any special crankcase flushing, etc.

· HP4S can be used in all 2006 or newer Honda Motorcycles, ATV’s, Scooters, or PWC.

· HP4S will NOT be recommended for use in earlier models as it would conflict with the 10w40 viscosity suggested in the owners manuals.

· HP4S retains the same recommended service (oil change) intervals as called for in the owners manuals.

· HP4S does NOT contain any MOLY.

figured i'd give 'er a shot.. headin out to give the ex an oil change now

nobody else has come across this? i havent had it too hot yet but after a couple 1st to 2nd gear throttle punches up the driveway it seemed like i gained a small percentage of power.. haha. but it does shift smoother from what i could tell and it smells good when its warmed up
