i just though the hot rod took a wrist pin bearing i wasnt sure what does the hot rod do and can you tell a difference how reliable is it did you buy the crank assembley or just the rod how much did it cost.

i bought the whole assembly and i got it off ebay for an amazing price of $115 that's dirt cheap, yes it was new i bought it from the weisco ebay store about 4 months ago.Their is no wrist pin bearing and i have yet run my motor I'm doing a ground up build on my wheeler so i couldn't tell you the reliability factor. The only difference with the hot rods crank is that the small end of the rod is stronger than oem, also their is a hole drilled in the rod to let oil in on the wrist pin.
