I was going to keep this in the bag until I had it completed but because of the financial investment thought I'd try to get some opinions about options.
I'm getting a custom 250R frame made and need to know from experience the Pros and cons of different setups.
As of now I am getting a Narrow front 450R linkage frame that uses 450R A-arms/shocks.
I don't have a set use for it as it will be used for XC as well as practice MX and trails.
So the opinions I'm needing is:
Should I go narrow front? I already have a narrow front 250R link Laeger frame but have not got it setup yet.
Should I forgo the 450R setup and stick with a 250R link or CR500 link?
With the 450 suspension setup, there will be no shortage of aftermarkets to use so:
Opinions of Walsh, Laeger, Lonestar, Roll design, JD performance
Right now I'm leaning towards Laeger or Roll design - Walsh is really expensive but looks good, JD performance has some interesting designs.
Also suggestions on shock/ motor setup or how you think I should build this.
