first one says its off an ATC and second says its off a TRX, they look identical to me so Im just gonna try it if I dont get an answer by the time it ends.

the atc shocks were a TAD longer and the reservoir hoses were a lot shorter. so that'd be a bit of a problem mounting them.

wow, can clearly see that now, guess I just wanted them to work since I can get that shock cheap.

The atc shock had a slightly bigger diameter hole for the lower shock bolt or vice versa, either one can be made to work though, the 250r shock would probably be ideal though cause its a bit shorter.

I got the trx shock coming and hopefully the 400 linkage I got will work out for me......

the 250r shock uses a 14mm pin and i believe the 400ex uses a 10mm i think. so you might have to make some sort of spacer or try drilling out the linkage.

by pin do you mean bolt? or is the fork of the 250r shock 14mm apart and the 400 linkage is only 10mm wide?

yeah, by pin i meant bottom bolt. sorry, that would have made a little more sense to most people hahah my bad.

also, i didn't do the 250r rear-end mod on mine BUT, i believe you have to trim the top bushings a bit to fit inbetween the space where it mounts. just like maybe take it the grinder and shave it off a bit until it fits. i'm buying a new shock for mine so i'll let you know what how much needs to be done!
