Do I have to run 400EX a-arms in order to use 400EX shocks on my 300EX. It already had a relocator bracket on it when I bought it.

nope. just that bracket. you may need to machine down the eyes of the shocks or add washers, i'm not sure.

A set of '07 take off shocks are on the way. Will my 300EX arms cause it to set any higher than it would with 400EX arms? I already have the relocation bracket ready to go.

It should sit just fine. I have aftermarket 300ex arms, shock mount bracket and 400ex length elkas and everything fits fine. The shock mounting point on my a arms is in the same place as the stock 300ex arms. Also you shouldn't need to grind the shock or use any washers. They will bolt right in place. You can also send the 07 shocks out for a revalve to make the setup work to it's full potential.
