TRX 90 motors

Got a buddy that needs a motor(or rebuild)for a trx 90(2002).Oil leak and seized.............

He would like to make it faster , of course, for his son and keep it a few more years.

I have told him about 125 kits and such but he is also wondering if he can throw in an larger motor from something else. Maybe a 200cc from an older honda. Or where he maight find a used 90 for sale.

Anyone have any suggestions good or bad ? His kid is already losing it as it's been a week without his quad:eek2:

Did you find a motor? I am getting ready to pull my sons 04 of his to put something else on it.. If interested it still can be started and riddin. But I will be starting to pull it apart next week let me know.. It will come with everything... Even wiring, coil, cdi box,ect...
