Yeah I love riding it. I fly on that thing. Its pretty fun since I finally got some knobbies on it. I used to slide everywhere in the wet. It was kind of fun though sliding around corners.

All I do on mine is slide, and my tires are about 80 percent. Gotta love two smokes.:)

No, the 250x is my dads first quad. Bought it new in 87, and the bike was my cousins but he tragically killed himself. He got caught up in the drugs scene. He had a lot of motorcycles. He used to own like 4 three wheelers and had like 10 other bikes at one time.

yup, read on the side of the tire, should give you a max psi rating. ATV tires are ment to be run at a very low pressure.

Ya the max was like 36 psi so i have put in around 22 psi.I don't know about 5 though would 15 psi hurt at all?:huh :eek2:

How about my dirt bike? Should those be a low psi or should they be a little bit more?

dirt bikes are higher cause your running a tube....
i always run 5-8 psi in an atv tire..they are supposed to be a flat tread, not ballooned up like that.

What about my front tires? Should I run the same psi in those too.

Yeah, with your tires aired up the much the quad must bounce all over the place...run maybe around 8 - 10 in the front...quad tires are made to more or less soak up hits than to bounch off of them. if you run them too hard and hit a rock its liable to puncture it, where as if its softer the tire will more or less just form around the rock and roll over it.

I have 4 1/2 in front and 3 1/2 in back of my LTR, less pressure better traction and i have mine set perfectly just so they squat only a little bit, but everytire is defferent
