ok so im digging into replacing my 400ex cam chain and camshaft. I am at the point where I need to take the clutch out to get to the cam chain on the crank. I see in the service manual that there are special tools needed to hold the crank for taking out 2 different big nuts that hold the clutch center stay then there are a couple of gears on the crank itsself before i can access the chain. What do you guys use the hold the crank to remove those nuts?

A pneumatic impact wrench makes it pretty easy.

well. I brought it to my work and blasted those 2 nuts off with my impact wrench. I was torqueing the clutch center nut back on and was jimmy rigging the basket to keep it still and I ended up breaking one of the studs that comes out. Should I replace the center stay assembly with a new basket or should I just replace the stay assembly? Ill prolly get honda clutch discs and fibers too
