Shocks stiff enough?

Hey i just bought a set of works shocks and had them valved for a 160 pound rider with stock arms. I didnt think i would have money for a arms but now i do, will my shocks be stiff enough or will they bottom out all the time. I also have threaded pre load on the shocks, the a arms are +2,+1

Your light so they might be ok but you wont know until you put them on, it all depends on the spring rate and valveing in the shock.

His weight really doesn't have anything to do with it. Leverage is leverage. I would try installing the arms first and riding on them. You may just need a spring or crossover change.
