Ok you know how some shocks have a hydralic piston and some have like sliding cuffs well on the front shocks of a yfz it seems to me like behind that black cuff is a hydralic piston because theres a small cu out section near the bottom where the cusion at the bottom is to stop the piston from smakicing into more metal has anyone taken of the black cuff or tried to
p.s. its the cuff on the bottom
What are you talking about? The bumpstops?

I think he is talking about the black plastic piece that is over the shaft to protect it.
I guess he wants to know if anyone has taken that piece out.

Why would you want to try to screw with the stock suspension / bumpstops, i think what you're trying to explain..........but why??? Whats the end goal of that???
