Any of you guys Aircraft Maintenance Engineers ?? Just looking for opinions from people in the industry about how they like or dislike their careers. :cool:

My g/f's dad went to school for it, now he's a manager at a refinery.

He said that school was interesting, but the demand for jobs were low at the time. So he doesn't have any real world experience.

What happened to your idea about working in the trades?

i am an AM in the navy i leave for bootcamp july 20th so i cant really tell you how that is yet

It's actually considered a trade ... after 2 years of school , there's an apprenticeship to finish up
