I have a 300ex jetted, filter dg headpipe and silencer. I also have 20' kenda klaws

What would be the best gearing right now I have 13/36 but it dosent fit proper I needed a half link. It now is time for new ones what would fit fine.

I was thinking 14/36 would that be too much for a stock 300ex?
what else would fit proper. Would a normal chain be long enough for 14/36?

Lotta guys run 14's up front, boost you up about 5 mph on top but take away some bottom end but since your runnin 20's you'll prolly go up 2-3mph and not loose much bottom.

Go for it.

What is the length of a standerd chain? It should fit fine. I just dont want to get screwed the same way as I did when I tryed to put the 13/36 on. 14/36 fits fine dose it?

Can you put 2 master links in 1 chain?

You can, but it's not recommended.

Also, be sure you put the clip on the correct way.

if your a half link off then u have to adjust your chain tension it should go enough to make up a half link

It wouldn't with the 13/36 too tight or too loose. The adjuster wouldn't make up for enough don't know why?

Don't you mean 20"s. You can't be running 20 foot tall tires.:huh

Do they make a 35T rear sprocket for a 300ex?. I would like to keep a 13 up front if possible. Has anyone ever herd of that combo 13/35
