i just got a sweet 400ex and i love it but the clutch is kinda stiff and i got arm pump after a day of riding. can i adjust it to make it softer? if so, how do i do it? or do i have to get an ez-pull clutch?

if the cable lube does not help, try getting an EZ-pull lever and perch.they vary on price, the cheapest alternative would probably be a stock lever and perch from a CR 250.i have heard of people using them with success and i hear they are under 20 bucks.i have an RTC lever and perch on mine.i could hold it in all day long with my pinkey.it work really well,i think i paid around $50 for it.

also mayb buy a new clutch cable urs could be fraied or how ever u spell that its where some of the wires break and they catch the coating makin it hard to pull.

I use WD-40 or Armor All. If I were you, I'd check the body forum.

I just lubed my cable last night with Lube 1, worked like a charm. It pulls just as well as when I first bought it. Just take the cable out of the handle, and stick the red spray nozzle the best you can down the brake tube. I wrapped a rag around the cable to save myself the mess. I slowly sprayed it down there until it came out the other end. Give it a try.:)
