I went to http://www.profabatv.com/parts_accessories.htm And found they have a decent 416 package for a 400ex. I was wondering if the do good work and if anybody has had done them. The price looks pretty reasonable to. Would you recommed a kit like this.

i don't know about the quality, but the trun around time must be quick b/c its a smaller and not as well known company

i'd say theyre as good as all the others, if the price is right, go for it:D

Well I got my kit from them, and did the work myself (except boring the cyl, local machine shop did that) Scott at Pro-Fab was cool, and helped out on several follow up calls from me with tech questions....I'd reccomend them to anyone

I had him put oversized valves and a race port in my 400 head, and it was beautiful!!!!!!

i live relatalvely close to their shop, about an hour away and ive stopped in numerous times they are real nice people have lots of parts and i havnent had any motor work done from them, but i have heard nothing but good things. if i ever build my motor i think im gonna get a 330 kit from there.

scott does all the work himself so sometimes if he is busy it takes longer. not forever just longer.he is pretty busy so when you call he might be working so you will not get to talk to him directly if you leave a message he will get back to you.at first i thought it was kinda weird but then i thought would i want to bother him while he was working on my motor.

everytime i talked to him he knew what he was talking about and real helpful. he will be doing my head porting early next year, i would had him do the 416 but i decided to do it.

he also does a heavy duty cam chain with the 416, it might not say that on the 416 kit

yea Scott is real cool

he had my head done in a week

he also sent me a whole bunch of free stuff too... screwdriver, cup, business cards, no stickers though:confused: , but i did also spend $800

oh yea, he also carved Pro Fab Atv Racing Engines into my head, it looks pretty cool, he put my name on there too, but its on the down side:mad:
