Since theres those two screws you drain oil from for some reason i drained the both until they wouldnt pour out anymore but lets say i just did an oil change and there was still a little dirty oil in there, or i think i put alittle too much oil in.... then what could happen? I put in a little less then 2 quarts which im supposed to do but by accident a little overflowed out of the top of tank until i warmed up the engine and it didnt spit any oil into the air box either

When refilling I just put 1.5 quarts let it idle for a minute then add the other pint. Apparently it just fills the crankcase and then shows the true level.

It's a dry sump system, if the tank is slightly overfilled while filling it up with oil, it won't hurt anything.

Personally, I fill the tank to the top everytime I change the oil. Then I start it. Two quarts after an oil change is about right.
