royal purple in 400ex

I jusy got a used 400ex 2001 bike was hardly used. maybe 30 hrs on motor.. The guy I got it from said to run royal purple synthetic in 20w 50 summer 10w 40 winter. Just want a second opinion.

Too many friction modifiers, not safe for wet clutches...:o
