Modded 440ex. $3700 or trade for 06 07 450r

Professionally maintained/built 440ex.

Stock frame reinforced and powdercoated gloss black. Subframe tabs cut off and ground smooth. No cracks/bends. Integrated dual footpegs.

Motor. FRESH. Just rebuilt in January '07. All motor work done by Mike's Cycle Shop (The oldest Honda Dealer in the state of Wisconsin, VERY reliable). One race on the motor. Complete tear down. New Rod (Hot Rodz), Crank Bearings, Seals. All gears, shift forks, drum, etc were spotless. New clutch plates and springs also put in. Cylinder has an IMS 440 sleeve and a 11:1 Wiseco Piston. Runs on high octane pump gas (92-93). Webcam aggressive grind is 3 years old but in good shape. New cam bearings, valve springs. Head is off of a 2001 and is mildly ported.

- Magura Hydraulic Clutch needs to be bled for added pressure
- Crankcase drain sleeve hairline cracked. Was professional welded and coated. Does not leak. Not an issue, but wanted potential buyers to be aware of everything.

Please keep in mind that this is my baby and NO expense was spared. I built this thing from when i bought it new in 99 and stock to what it is today. It is a quick, powerful, clean machine. Has won many championships. I am selling because I am getting out of racing full time. I might enter a vet race or two next year. I am not a "kid" as I am 25 years old and have been racing since I was 15. I payed for everything myself and was 'handed' nothing like some of the kid's I see racing today. This makes you appreciate, respect and maintain a machine like this one was. Everything was meticulously maintained. Oil was changed every other race with a complete tear down at the end of each season. With the right rider, will keep up to a piped and filtered 450r/yfz450 and a stock LTR. Smooth, clean, powerful and ready to go.

Looking for a trade on a 450r. Must be clean! I'm a picky SOB. Preferably piped, filter, axle, arms, ft. shocks, but throw me some ideas. as far as $$, I am looking to see how close I can get to a 450r without parting my 440 out.

love the bike. i have a 2004 400ex with lsr a arms and axel plus 2 on both. very clean rarely ridden. stock motor power core 4 eexhaust k and n dyno jet kit. pro armour bumpert nefs and pegs. id throw thats in. and maybe a lil cash
