i was just wondering what all do pros do to their quads besides the things need to race and the suspension?do they do anything to the motor or no?just something ive been pondering about

They do everything. There is nothing left untouched. The motor is far from stock.

it depends on the series/racing type. You will find in the GNCC's that the average bike a is closer to stock than a MX bike, given it is still far from stock.

Yep alot of pros only run small mods like a cam and exhaust

I read in dirtwheels all Dustin Nelson does is a mild porting and timing change and he still wins.

Very, at first I thought it was nauseating, but now its growing on me, though it does make you feel a little light headed.

C12... doubt it.

Oxygenated is where its at.

Byrd runs MR9 not U4 they are both an oxygenated fuel but the U4 has a higher % of oxygen almost all to pro's run either MR9, MRX01

I run U2 in my boys Kasea.. Huge difference !! BUT the bike is set up for it.. I run C12 all the time or something close in my YFZ .. But same way thats what it needs and thats what it gets.. I have thought about switching to U4 just for the temp change its self. And actually my VP rep told me I could run some U2 in my 4 stroke becouse of the high Compresion. But you guys are right the U2 and U4 have a very different smell.. Everyone allways wants to know what it is.. And can you say $13 to $15 a gallon ???

I would absolutely love to see somebody try that, thinking it would work.

It would be a good laugh.

tell me about it. the nearest gas station that carries it (there isnt any shops that do) is about 35-40 minutes away. plus my blaster sucks the gas so i usually have to go every other week, sometimes sooner.
