400ex Seat

Can someone please post pictures of the correct way a 400ex seat goes on? I need a picture of a side angle if you were looking at the left or right side of the quad, and a picture of where the seat goes into the rubber pieces on the frame. Thanks!

I wanted to know if I bolted my seat to my fenders the wrong way because the 2 points on the seat latch dont go into the rubber pieces on the frame. :rolleyes:

Do you have the front of the seat correctly fastened to the tab on the tank? That would also cause the problem you are talking about if its not on right.

Yes it is on correctly on the front part, my question is are the 2 seat pins or gray points or whatever you want to call them are they supposed to be all the way down in the rubber pieces or just in so it stays, my seat stays fine while I am riding, I just want to know if they are moving so much because they are not on correctly

On mine the pins dont go all the way down, there is a gap between the bottom of the rear panel and the rubber grommets.

you're probably missing the front grommets like he said, and possibly the rectangular seat grommets half way on the seat... just check for everywhere it mounts, you'll kn ofi you're missing somethin it'll show wear marks
