Blaster kick-start

A friend asked me to fix up her blaster for her. Its been sitting around for 2 years now, and needs some work. I got parts ordered for it, but apparently someone took the engine apart, and there is a problem with the kickstart. It only catches once every 5 or 6 kicks. I havn't been able to tear into it yet, but I figured I would ask if anyone had any ideas of what it could be. Thanks, Matt.

i dont know what the issue is, but you can go to www.yamahaoftroy.com and look. they have an oem parts finder that breaks down the whole quad, just like they do at a dealership when you order parts. it might be helpful

Alright, thanks. I'm thinking it just got put back together wrong, and the gears aren't catching.
