Check ebay right now cause theres a set of 88 plastics that are still mint (or look it from the pics) I think thats the best youll get for now.. but continue to check on there cause sometimes youll find new take offs (usualy expensive though)

Your the only one with an arguement. I've just noticed that you always make offers on stuff that is almost insulting and if anyone says anything you tell them "well good luck then" or something along those lines like you are the only one offering good money on it or they will never get what they are asking. If you are tired of people making statements about your offers just PM the person and you and them will only know that you are a low baller.

Yes you are. Period.

By the way, $200 isn't a starting price, it's a down payment.

A starting price is an offer a little less than what you would be willing to pay for something. Do you think he would sell it for only a little more than $200? That wouldn't make any sense when he knows he can sell them for around $461 on Ebay.

You need to tell Rich250RRacer that not me. $500 now thats an offer and a dang good price if he excepts.

Wow, I've got to stop this before it gets out of hand. I was just feelin' around to see what someone would pay for a new set. I wouldn't sell it, even for double retail. Imagine what it might be worth 5 or 10 years down the road.

I used to put a new set on every other year, regardless of the condition. But since I split time between my two 450's and my 250R's, I don't trash plastic like I used to. This is my spare set, but it doesn't look like I'll use it. I'll pick up some aftermarket stuff next time I need it.

I wasn't going to chime in because I made him aware of his lowballing offers then for whatever reason Clean250Rforsale sends me a message saying I'm a low baller? Which if you ask anybody I've bought stuff from, I don't throw out offers until I know what the person is asking.(then I pay something close) I know what I want to pay for stuff and don't even Make offers until I know what the person is asking.

MY88R some advice from now on. If somebody is asking $500 for something don't offer them $100. That would be a lowball offer. The only exception when someone is asking a price that is way high, then just forget about it, they'll realize it's high when it doesn't sell and there is no interest. Like what you are asking for your 250R is way high, expect offers of $2100 cause that's likely what you'll get IF you decide to sell. I'm pretty sure you only paid $2800 for it anyway cause I know who you bought it off of.

But anyway, what I was getting to is that this stuff is around $900 retail so even $500 is low. Most of it's discontinued so if you wanted OEM you'd have to pay more than retail for a new set.

OEM Plastic is still available! I just bought another front left fender from my Honda Hook Up. My rear fender was purchased a month ago. Sounds like your Honda dealer is giving you the reach a round! LOL... Fronts run$200 plus tax my cost. Service Honda is still selling them also..Might not be that many left..Hurry before I buy em all...

I think the right side is on backorder and has been for quite some time. Usually when that happens with an older Honda part number, they're getting ready to discontinue it.

1DP - you shouldn't have sold your stock seat! It looks good with a new cover but it's near impossible to fully reproduce that 88 seat logo.

Thats a brand new 86 seat. My 88 factory seat is still on my factory rear fender. I had another 88 seat that I sold for big$$$ and wasn't even perfect. The 86 seat thats on it might not be the right one but you can't beat the factory oem seats. It doesn't hurt that its the right color red either....
