Well, we set a record breaking attandance this round(which I knew we would!)We were somewhere around 557 entries!

It was soooo cool to finally get to see a REAL woods race!It reminded me alot of a GNCC!:blah: My kids hated it at first, but once they got there "feet wet" all the way home all I heard was

"I got to race in the woods! That was so cool!":p
I think just about every other quad hit a tree this past wk end:o

If you missed this round, you missed a good one.
Wait until you see the vidoe of the log section!

Lets hear your wk. end stories and if I could maybe get an update on the rider who was suspected of a possible broken back that would be greatly apprecaiated. I would like to hear how hes doing and Im surehe is in everyones thoughts.

Ill save all mine for the Coverage. ;)

Are you referring to Curtis McNitt in pro-am with the hurt back QJ? He's doing fine just a little bruised up and some pulled muscles in his back. I said at the track after before and during the race and I still will say that was probably the hardest beating I have ever undured for 90 minutes on sunday. It's only competition was the 60 minute beating from saturday. You happen to have any quality pics of that short guy on the red and white number 32 honda do ya? He was my favorite rider of the entire weekend :D

I don't think there was any surgery involved. He posted on quadsonly he was ok in the riverdale thread on quads only. 1700 pics is allot I'm slow enough there should be plenty of me.

Carnage on Sunday? Whatever do you mean? I was just checking for loose skidplate bolts. It's easier to work on upside down.

I have a few from James and Dax on Saturday. I'll try and get them up in a few days...

Hope your trip home was better than your Saturday evening...

Wow, another 1-2 for Frederick and Schell...can't wait to see what happens when their factory DS-450's are available to race....barring any unforseen problems, the competition aside from Eichner will not be happy....:D

You gotta post that pic. you have of the winners of the kids team race. ;)
And do you have the Pro-am Holeshot? Reed stomped the start then got his skirt caught in his chain, once they hit the woods.

I never saw a skirt in a chain but I do remember seeing a YFZ stuffed into some pretty thick trees when I went by.

I was really hoping that you got a pic of this. This sucked because I had about a 30 second lead. This is the second time this has happened within the last 2 months.

What Axle is it?

hanes17

It hasn't been the axle. The lug nuts just come off. We even used a 1/2 inch drive socket to really tourqe down the nuts just before I went to the line. They are just a flat flange nut, but other people run the same thing. I have been running these same wheels and lug nuts since the begining of last year and now all of a sudden have this problem. I am now going to put lock washers and blue locktite on them.
