Here is a pipe test on an Bone Stock 05' 450R. Still had stock filter on it..:) . I had a new set of LTE Duals and I have the New LTE Single pipe for the 04'-05' TRX 450R. I wanted to show the difference in these setups. I do believe this is the First test shown on a 450 with Duals. So here it is:

Bike- 05' TRX450R Bone Stock

First Test is All Stock vs. LTE Single Pipe with Airbox Lid ON

(No Jetting Changes) The Stock 118 main worked well with the LTE.

The Mounting Bracket for the Regulator that is welded to the frame has to be removed to get the Duals to Fit. Here is how it mounts. It mounts to the Airbox. Holds up pretty good.

The Pipes are Awesome. The Fit was Perfect and they Look Great. Note that the Duals are quieter that the Single Pipe...

So there it is. LTE Pipes are Great. They have a pipe to suit any need. After Installing and tuning these pipes, I will say that they are Top Notch. For Fit, Power, Looks and price. The Next test is to see these Duals with a Built Motor..

Looks awesome! Finally we can all see some dyno runs on the LTE Duals.

I have some on my 440, and just with 'between the legs' testing I would say it is a significant power increase over single pipes in the 400EX also!

Thanks !!

Here is a pic of mine...

PS - Do the 450R LTE Dual kit not come with the LTE airbox?!?!

155MJ with the lid off on an 05?

I've never seen a MJ that low before with the lid off on an 05, is there another reason for that?

You have to remember that the 155 is with a stock filter and cage. 155 is normal in this situation on a stock motor. The Duals Flowed a more and required a 175 main.

Every Stock motor 04'-05' is in the 150-160 range for mains with the lid off. I have tuned 14:1 compression, fully built motors with better filters than K&N and only had to use a 185 main. So 155 is right with the mods.

Great post! So has anyone tested the dual on a better motor yet?
If not I will try and update as I go ahead with my build. Before I install my set of duals I am going to repack them with ceramic packing. Right now my engine mods are hc2, k&n air filter, cut lid, snorkle, and tee, hrc needle, 195 main. Upcoming mods will include p&p, +1 valves, +3 cylinder, +3 12.5:1 piston, +3 balanced crank, and a taper bored 43.5 fcr.
