wont idle?

i took my R out the other day with a couple of friends to go riding and wen i went to start it up it wouldnt idle. i played with the idle adjuster and nothing happened. it ran fine but felt like it was cutting out a little in the powerband. i changed the sparkplug and and oil. i also flushed the tank becuase there wast that much gas in there anyway. anyone got any ideas? by the way its an 88.

what clip is needle in, what size main and what size pilot. whats your elevation and the temps your rideing.

also changing the oil has no effect what so ever on the idle...the Oil is only for lubrication for the transmission...the crank case itself is seperat...all the lubrication the crank bearings get is from the mix in your gas.
