Will Contact Cleaner be alright to use on my stock chain??

Maxima Contact Cleaner:

It says it removes oil and grease. I have a can and didnt want to chance damaging it because I have a dune trip this weekend...

Id be careful with the o rings!!!I have used simple green,purple power and even WD40 with no problems!!!I used WD40 as a lube on my stock chain for 1.5 years and when i took it off it still had the oring grease in beteween the orings!!!!So if people say its not safe i disagree;)

I dunno if I'd use brake cleaner on an o-ring chain but ur right that you deff need to remove that grease they put on there when they are new.

Stuffs like glue for sand, I don't know what they are thinking when they do that, like we only ride our quads on the road or something. lol

it's probably some sort of packaging lube.SO it does rust sitting on the selves

try big orange (stuff is awesome degreaser/heavy duty cleaner) Then pressure wash it.
