View Full Version : Help me decide what to get for when i get a 300ex.

1. Curtis Sparks full system exhaust or TC shorty full system?

2. LoneStar DC-4 LT 400ex a-arms w/Custom Axis triple rate dual adjust w/remote rezzies or Houser 400ex LT a-ams w/the same shocks?

3.Maier white plastics w/red a-arms and stuf or Maier yellow plastics w/red or blue a-arms and stuf?

I cant make up my mind so i though it would be better to see what everyone else thought.:ermm:

That's how i would set up mine, but it's just my opinion.

what about the maier custom white fenders w/ red a-arms and all that stuf and a quad tech carbon fiber 450r hood scoop.

like this one but w/ the stuf above.

the 450 hood would probably be too short for the front plastic.

i would stay away from 12 to 1 compression. vp c12 is killing me to ride.

also, i don't think tc sells the shorty system anymore, BUT you can order the race system straight from supertrapp (supertrappdotcom) and then order the 4" open race endcap for it from supertrapp, too.

same thing. but the endcap is a little different looking.

yea they still make the 300ex shorty becausethey are under the sound level and a lot of guys that race nationals run the TC exhaust.

i think it would fit because the regular hood fits it and the scooped hood is the same thing just w/ a scoop in it.

do you have pic of the hood on a 300ex with the new maier plastics?

i've seen a 300ex with a race cut front and a 450 hood on it and it was WAY too short

i am talking about these plastcs. the maier custom plastics that make the 300ex look similar to the 450r.

ah neat

i would do that then. also, i could be wrong but it looks like he had to trim the front plastics because they were a bit too long. other than that, it would look really good!
