?? 300 EX Jetting ??

We just put together a 300 ex. It has a TC Ported Head, Decked Head, TC Cam, Sparks X-5 Ehaust, Sparks Air Filter, After Market Air Box No Lid, After Market Coil, After Market Ignition, 400ex carb any sudgestions where we should start the jetting on the carb ? The is the 1st 300ex we've played around with.

What's your bore?

My 330 I think is jetted at:

165 Main, 42 Pilot, 400ex stock needle 3rd slot.

I'm just pulling this out of my head. It's been since last fall since I've been into my carb, but I beleive that's what mines jetted at.

TC Racing Engines basicly said the same as you, I talked to them on the phone today. 298 is our bore

you may need a little bigger pilot with the smaller cc.

I think we got the jetting. 165 Main Jet, 38 Pilot Jet and the needle is 2nd slot from the bottom it seems to be ok. We haven't run it too much so far, tonight we'll bring it to track and let her have it and tune it there. Hopefuly it'll be good
