You know how your pipe is DAMN LOUD? Well, My neighbors think so anyways, lol. I did some research and found out that the Supertrapp endcap will fit and is also a USFS Approved Spark arrestor. It is significantly quieter, Hopefully quiet enough to get into Silver Lake this Weekend!

At 12 discs, Joe at rossier says it actually gains .4 of a hp! :p

If your interested I can get you part numbers for parts unlimited, I think I ended up paying $80 for it, My dealer thinks its funny to jack prices up :mad:

Dont mean to hijack ur thread. I will delete my post of u want. But i just wanted to say that i snapped a bracket on my Rossier! I wanted to know if anybody else has snapped this bracket?

wow! i just realized that my one friend has his old supertrapp sitting in a box in his garage!!! time to go buy it from him...lol

how does it sound now? I am thinking maybe just use it for when i am in my neighbor hood cause I really love the way the pipe sounds now.

Have you db metered your bike? I have the same set up but am running the sparky. Have you ran both supertrap and sparky to compare which one performs better?

I havent had any DB readings done, buy these are from Joe:


105 DB's open end cap

102 DB's with RE sparky

98 DB's with 12 disc's .4 more horsepower form mid to top

96 DB's with 10 disc's with .1 loss over power from the 48.5hp with a pipe cams and open air box

I noticed a little bit more backfiring on decel, but thats it, still pulls hard everywhere else!

make sur eyou use plenty of antiseize on the bolts. they have a tendency to seize up. We had plenty of trouble with racers around here having theres seize up, or break off.

The discs do quiet it down quite a bit tho.

I was about to grab this set up, but then I read how much it increases the temp. in the can and my black can is already discoulouring so I don't want the whole thing to turn gold :confused:

just put mine on. Jetting is still dead on. IMO, the open cap sounds better, so i will probaly end up only using this when i have to quiet. I will you the straight cap at the track.
