Do you have pics of what it looks like now?

Thanks,
Tyler

yes, but you wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless there was a s tock ex sitting beside it...here it is anyway...

and to give you a better idea, here is my buddies 450r with the derisi rear link next to my 450r with the stock rear link...the derisi link is about the same as the gt thunder and lowers the stance as much on the 450 as they do on the 400ex. both bikes have the same rear end set up except for the link and revalve...obviously his is the bike on your right....

Wow those are some nice bikes and thanks for the pics.

I see you and your friend runs Irazr rears, how do you like them and what kind of terrain do they see the most?

Thanks,
Tyler

thanks...
the i-razrs are great for forward bite and predictable sliding...probably the best tire i have had...they see mostly hard pack PA trails with a little legal dirt road and an occasional mx track. with that being said, they wear fast...too fast, as much as i like these tires, i won't buy them again due to the wear on them

Thanks speedyquad

Anyone else? Do absolutely have to get your rear shock rebuilt if you buy this link considering Im on a kinda tight budget:ermm:

yes you do. i got my link for the 450r off of ebay. gtthunder sells parts on there and i got it from him for $71. saved quite a bit that way

I put the link on mine w/o revalving and i noticed an improvement, but its probably nowhere near as good as getting the revalve done with it.
I'll get it done one of these days:chinese:

you DONT have to get shock rebuild. mines not and you will notice a big difference better turning, traction, just keeps your bike planted well

Yeah thats what I was going to do is buy the link and rebuild my rear when I bought my fronts...get it all done at one time

06-17-2007, 04:53 PM
this is one of those things where it will work, but it won't work right. the link changes the leverage on the shock and it don't compress or rebound anywhere like it should with this link.

will it work wihtout a revalve-yes
will it be correct without a revalve-no

if money is that big of an issue, cantact cody at c$d racing, he says he can get the same effect form just a revalve and using the stock link...i am not sure of his price for that, but it should be arounfd the price of the link itself...this would be a better way to go than to do the link with no revalve...

if you are going to do it, do it right or don't do it at all...

If I bought it without the rebuild I more than likely wouldnt put it on until after I got the rebuild but idk

Do you have anymore pics of either of the 2 R's you posted earlier?
