I was wondering if a stock trx 450r swingarm would work on a 400ex i think they a longer then a stock 400ex. I have a elka linkage and a 450r shock on it already trying to find out before buying a 450r swingarm any help thanks

Swing arm will work, as I have one on mine, but they arent any longer. The chain sliders are different, and well as the brake hose hangers. The skids wont work either. As far as the linkage, I dont have a clue.

If you don't have a clue on linkage, what are you using for your quad if you have a 450R swingarm and it works?

^^^..I'm guessing that he probably has some type of 450r linkage since he's using the 450r swingarm. But the original guy that started the thread has an elka 400ex linkage, so the second guy wasn't sure if the 400ex linkage would work with the 450 swingarm...at least thats what I'm guessing.

I was just seeing if the 450r swingarm was longer then the 400exand if it would bolt up. I have a stock 400ex swingarm on right now with the elka linkage and the 450r shock it works good and about more 2" of travel Ijust neeeeeeed more travel

I have 400 linkage on mine. I put 450 linkage and a rear shock on mine but my fourwheeler sat about three inches lower in the rear and that wasn't goin to cut it.
