Hi,
We are looking at a lt250r and i have a few questions. Does anyone know the top speed? How does it handle? How can i tell what year it is? And is it possible to get replacement plastics for it? Could i get stock ones or would it have to be aftermarket?

Thanks for any help

Well its no quad for starters...LOL. Its pretty dang fast! Im pretty sure you could find some plastics for it. Dont know about stock, but probably. I know Maier makes good plastics, everybody and his brother has 'em now whatever the quad is...lol. Dont know top speeds, etc. But it does handle well.;)

Alright thanks, Ive been on 2 wheels since i was 5, now im 13 so i think i could handle it. is $1350.00 a good price for one? Its plastics are cracked but it has an fmf slip on, fly handelbars, and i think a couple other things but we still havent called on it yet. How are they on gas? About how many miles can you go on a tank?

Thanks for any help

You have any pics of it? That sounds like a good deal. But I wouldnt buy anything without pics. Is there anything wrong with it? Probably know one knows the gas mileage. but it really doesnt matter...:ermm: By the way its a 2 stroke so your gonna have to mix gas if didnt know. Im 14, and I seroiusly dont I could handle something like that. But I've only been riding for 4 years.

my only advice is that parts for lt250r's are SUPER HARD to get. suzuki is discontinuing alot of stuff for them. your better off saving up for something newer.

yeah but i think you can get alot of aftermarkets and stuff, plus my dads friend from work has spare plastics so that solves the cracked plastics problem, plus i think he might have some other stuff too.

Thanks

aftermarket is getting harder to find as well.
