Many companies have the ability to interchange 400ex/250r arms by using different lengths of spacers off of the heim joints. Since that has a fixed mounting on the bottom arms you would have ot get exact measurements form them and see if they would work. Also check with duncan or even denton may still have a web page and you could see what they recommend.

Yes, they'll fit... I put a set of stock 400ex a-arms (narrow) on one of my 250r's just to ride in the woods for a weekend. They ARE NOT an Exact fit but they lined right up.
I had to get some thick washers from Lowes (or Home Depot) to fill the gaps and it worked fine... I only did this for a couple of days of woods riding then I went back to my Long travel set up for MX.

I don't know how they would hold up in the long run or racing tho. My guess is (if done right) as good as anything else that we tear up racing...

Some say "buy what was made for it"...Some say "MAKE IT FIT!"
