Need some ideas

My girlfriend and I are thinking about moving into a house and splitting rent with my cousin and his fiance. In Edmonton, rent is really bad right now and it would save us all a little cash. However, Edmonton has bad crime as well and the problem with the house is that it only has one parking stall in the garage. There is a little bit of a driveway for parking too but it is uncovered and there are a few of us with more expensive cars.

My question is does anyone have any ideas of how we could set something up or buy something to act as like a mini garage? Something that would keep the cars out of the cold and the snow and would keep the bad people out as well?

Aeound here, we have these things called PODS, there like a freight container, but a little smaller, although you can get them in different sizes. They are lockable, and you can fit a decents amount of things in them.
