i am going to change my oil on my 2007 z400 i forgot what kind of oil i need... i bought SAE 10W-30 Super Tech... whould that b ok?? is there ne thing else i should look for on the oil?? also.. how mcuh oil will i need in my z400?? do u no off hand?? thanks

If I'm correct and you bought that supertech from walmart, i wouldn't use it. it's a car oil, not a motorcycle oil. get one made for wet clutches. they probably sell some there too.

Old thread, but here goes... 10w - 40 4 Stroke oil. The oil filter is located on the right side above the water pump and has 3 bolts holding the cap in place...

Amsoil powersports 4s oil seems to work good for me. some people say that it isnt the best for wet clutches as far as biting goes though but w/e.
