who put 06/07 plastics on a 04/05 450r

the mounts are differnt under the gas tank. i dont want to zip tie them on. any ideas????

I believe you have to buy the plastic piece under the tank to make this work properly.

I have an 05' and bought 07' white plastics. the back fenders bolt right up. you have to make shure you buy the heat sheild for under the gas tank. also buy the rubber grommets for that to..b/c the 05's are oval. the 07's are totally different.. also when you go to put the tank on its not going to just bolt right down.. I had to trim acouple spots off the heat shield and then put some pressure on the tank to get it to bolt on. but stock holes mount rigt up.
