If anyone owns one of these leave some replies please!!! I looked at one today and i like it but know nothing about it. How do they keep up with other 4-wheelers the guy said its just like a susuki r450 but with differ plastic? Are they dependable or need to be messed with a lot? Whats a good price that people are paying? When was the first year they came out? Can they get through mud and water? These are all things that he told me and i want to see if he was bull**** me or telling me how great it really is. If anyone has any info great and thanks for letting me know.

They aren't like the Suzuki R450, but they are the same thing as a Suzuki Z400 (a direct copycat) with different plastic. They are a peppy quad designed for aggressive trail riding. You can do quite a bit of upgrading if you want to also. They come with reverse. It's also a very plush riding quad too! Not as fast as a 450 but fast enough for most people. They are pretty reliable too.

The DVX chasis and motor is the same as the Suzuki Lt 400.
Suzuki owns 32% of Arctic Cat. It is an excellent quad but obviously not equal to the 450 in power

Thanks for the replies helps out a lot. Would $5200 be a good price for a 2007? Also im looking at a Honda 400ex and the Arctic cat what would you guys go with? Thanks

Oh.....um they are both great machines.....You can't go wrong with either.....I would say go with the Arctic Cat since it has a different look to it. They respond to mods a lil better also.

i've got an '06 DVX -- the tony stewart edition....
this bike is a blast to throw around on the track and in the dirt, but is no good for any serious trail riding. $5200 seems like too much in my opinion, they sold for $5900 new....
if you feel like taking a road trip to the southern pa/baltimore area i'll sell you mine for $4000 -- it's got about 12 hours on it. the wheels are a bit banged up, but other than that, it's in great shape! it was sold new in June of this year.

I got my dvx400 on 2006 and still having an awesome time with it. I've done some up grades on it and rides smooth. It's not like the 450 susuki but it get close as far as speed. It only major problem I've had was that the stock clutch cover is not alumnium like the rest of the motor. It had a chemical reaction and I had to order a replacement straight from susuki not Arctic cat. It has worked great ever since.
