Hey guys, headin' to the dunes for the first time i a couple weeks. In the process of getting some used paddles, and the other essentials wrapped up. I searched around a bit and found that you need to buy a flag, a day pass and an ORV (i think) sticker. I talked to a friend of mine who went down last summer and he said he just camped at silver lake resort and campground for the nights he was there and i think that is the route i'm going to go as well. Anywys, I just had a few questions for those who live in Mich. and might be able to help me out. I'm coming aross the border at Sarnia/Port Huron and then driving to Magic Racing for a few parts and then finally to the dunes. Whats the best way to go and how long will the drive take approximately?

Thanks a million

Also anyone who is interested in going then just pm me, and we'll set something up.

Nice pictures...Is that all you took or do you have more? We'll all have to go down sometime when we are off from work and there are a lot of members going from the different forums.

I got about 40 on a new album I created the other day on FB, and yeah we'll definately have to go down again, if I don't go back down this summer I will next summer forsure, it's going to become an at least annual trip for me. You'd have so much fun down there with yor truck, probably end up driving it more than your shee...hah.
