Deal on a 250x?

This guy is selling a 250x, for $400, he said theres something wrong with the cam chain, and it just needs to have the plastics put on it. IDK much about 250x/300ex's. Could i make one abl to beat a blaster? and is this a good deal?

its an alright deal. Just buy the parts off of ebay. For a 250x to be able to smoke a stock blaster all you would need is probably a filter, and maybe a slip on exhaust and jet kit. I personally like White Brothers E Series, or HMF sport series, but there are plenty to choose from.
