question #1) where are you going to get a stock 250R.

question #2) what terrain are we riding.

question #3) you do know your comparing a 250 to a 350 eh?

stock banshee's are very corked from the factory. straight line, they'll take the R. if you pipe, filter, jet them both, you have machines that are 10x better than what you started with. i personally would go with the honda. because its a honda. its a single cylinder. it'll rev faster than the shee. it has 1/2 the stuff, carbs, filters, cylinders, pipes, the shee has. and it handles great.

since when does a 250 piston rev faster then a set of 175s?? the banshee revs out quicker...and yes the banshee would win if both were in stock form...

If all your doing is going straight and flat then the Shee

For anything else, the 250r.

^^^ id still rather have a banshee in the dunes or desert racing over the 250r...but i would want the 250r for MX and XC

The massive crank slows it down.

I don't know if you know much about snowmobiles or not but this is very visible in this industry. The big tripples (800+) make a lot of power but take quite a while to get their motors crank'n (even with such small motors). The big twins fly off of the line but just don't have the top end of the big tripples.
