The dealer is giving me a hard time about my warrrenty on my tranny so I have to open my 04 450r so. I would like to change the crank to a stroker +3 with a baldwin 14:1 piston. My question is should save some on the piston and then have the head ported at the sametime. I plan on checking the valves for ware. If its bad enough to need a valve job I was thinking of kb +1 ss intake possibly the rest I'd go oem.
What do you guys suggest I do and if I do go witht he baldin say over a je 13.5:1 how much of a difference would there be?
