lol, every year yamahas yfz has a new features section... this year yamaha says quote:

"The reigning multi-time GNCC Championship winner and ATV Illustrated 2007 Sport ATV of the year returns more race-ready then ever"

Yes Yamaha... it is more race-ready then ever... even with ZERO upgrades. I like the orange, but thats still pretty damn not race-ready. Way to take a page out of Honda's book.

exactly. everyone was busting on the honda for falling behind, and everyone thought the yfz is coming out with efi. look at it now.

I just said EFI was a possibility, I'm not surprised that it's just BNG.

Disappointing to say the least. Although I'm sure Yamaha and Honda feel like they were caught with their pants down again with news of the Can-Am and KTM machines.

We'll see what 09 has in store for these two co's.

I think the orange is kind of ugly actually. I still think that the best looking YFZ was the older white/red model. Not surprised that they didn't change much, as with Honda. Better they see what is in store anyway!

personally the spec. ed. yellow and black is the best....takes me back to the 70's when we knew exactly what manufacturer was what color...i.e. red was honda...yami was yellow etc. etc. JMO

ya the orange isnt terribly ugly but im still not a big fan of it. it looks like they are trying way to hard to make it look good. just my opinion.

yeah... true... my uncle has an 06 SE YFZ and my step dad has the 06 SE 700r. Those bikes are really sick lookin. Specially when i took parts off em... brought to my grandfaters p/c shop, and sprayed matte black on their nerfs and various other parts. Looks much better now.

Don't be hatin. It seems like everyone dropped their manufacturing colors. Honda went with some blue in their 450. Yami is going with orange, and red on the 700's.

IMO the orange combo looks really good and makes it stand out.
