i got boots the other day and i am having trobule trying to decide on were to put the gear lever,, were is ur's at. 1 is to hi and the other is a tad low

It shouldn't matter what it looks like. Put your boots on and go ride it, if its comfortable leave it alone, if its awkward then move it. Its all about you being able to shift it comfortably.

little hi even for boots.. most bikes they are level with the peg. you might want to raise it a little more weld a bar to it and make it a jockey shift. lol :p

I have mine set up so when i am standing up and boots are level to the ground the shifter is just touching the tow of the boot, Standing up and trying to shift with it in stock location was a pain in the a**.

wow thats high. mine is about even with the peg. but it is all up to you, however feels best when you ride it.

My advice is don't get too crazy with the lever adjustments right after you start riding with boots. It takes a little time to get accustom to riding boots. What feels strange and totally out of wack at first will feel normal after a while.

thats where i put mine before and i was going through some whoops and hit a dirtbike rut and my foot landed on the shifter and snapped the shaft that the shifter goes on..but do what your comfortable with

thanks 4 the replys i thought is was a bit ot high, im going to move it down 1 spline after school i think.
