what motor will fit a mojave

im looking for a motor to fit in my kawasaki mojave . i thought about putting a kx250 in it or a kx500 but i dont know if it will fit . does any one know if they will fit and how hard it will be to put one in .

With a little bit of work either of those engines will work. Go check out www.cycleworksracing.net What is wrong with the mojo motor? You can get a CWR 370 kit and it will hang with most stock 450's all day long. I tell you what I would love to see is a Kawie V stuffed in a mojave or lakota.

im just wanting more power and to make a hybrid . i already have a yamaha dt400 but it needs to b totally rebuilt and i want to keep the mojo all kawasaki . as for the mojave motor it needs a full rebuild but it still runs , starts on the 2nd kick every time

I seen that you have it up f/s. Just rebuild it with a 280 kit. A 370 would be wicked though. Did you watch the video at CWR?

ya i watched the video but im not really wanting t keep the mojo .... it is turning out to b a little money pit . i have had great fun riding the bike but i really want something a little bigger .

ive seen a yz426 dirt bike motor in a mojave before. it was pretty quick. it could hang with some stock 450's up until the big end.

i think im through with the lil mojave . i just bought a 300ex frame and im putting a 350x motor in it soon .......i think i will like that alot better .....o ya and the mojave is forsale .

Where exactly in Morganfield are you at? I know the area pretty well. I may have to cme down and check it out.
