Mine..

2007 Dodge Mega Cab, 3500......5.9, G36

I LOVE this truck....but it does need a leveling kit, better tires & wheels, and at least a chip.

How is the gas mileage in the newer 07-08 5.9l 6 speed?

My dad really likes the new dodges and is wondering if he should trade in his 30mpg suv he has now for a truck.

the newer dodges have the 6.7 cummins, and from what i've heard its not as good due to all the emmissions crap that is on the newer diesels.

just to p*ss everyone off here's my dads duramax/allison, 450hp and 775ft/lbs at the crank.

It's a 5th-wheel toyhauler. They range from the mid 30k - 50k for that size.

well gas milage is n/a. it is a diesel, they get fuel milage lol:macho. j/k

the newer trucks have gone down the ULSD kills them, my buddies gets about 18. older ones could see 20+

ULSD really hasn't effected mileage at all the fuel still has as mush heat content. All the emissions systems, regen cycles, EGR and extra weight from all of it has.

I just bought mine 2 weeks ago, its a quad cab short bed 2wd w/ 5.9 and brand new i was getting about 20 mpg. I just put straights on it and a bully dog triple dog w/ outlook moniter and was getting 22.5 on the highway.
