you have to be kidding me...the 350 raptor compares more with the 300ex than the 400ex...the 400ex smokes the 350 in every category

yes the raptor 350 (a.k.a. warrior) is more comparable to a 300ex than the 400. the 400 is a completely different machine, and out preforms teh raptor inevery aspect. the 300 however is in teh smae class as the raptor, and performance is similar between the two

Im not sure which one is faster but knowing that the warrior was a hunk of garbage and that the raptor 350 is just another warrior with a facelift.

I would go with a 300ex if i was shopping in that class but ultimately for the money and leap in performance and 400ex is probably your best bet.

um just to let u guys know this was my friend that sign on my name and he HAD A CRAPTOR 350:devil: and he is always saying he can stay with 400's i dont dout him but he wont beat a 400 by any chance

I had a 300ex and I beat every Warrior I raced except for my dads which is an 87 and he would pull from me in his 6th.

300ex and Warrior are really close, I beated some modded and some were a little bit ahead of me stock untill like high 4th.

400ex will beat a Warrior.

I'd much rather get a 300ex or 400ex though, cuz the handling makes the Warrior feel like a mule, but isn't that with any Yamaha? :p

A little off topic about the displacement thing... i was chekin' my lawn mower specs. It's a craftsmen ride-on with an 18 HP V-Twin. That motor is 626cc's, and yet only 18 HP. Just further proof that cc's don't mean that much

stock for stock on a 40 mile straight away the raptor would win cause of it's 2 mph higher top speed :P

but seriously... way to many people think cc means more then it does. GO BY HORSEPOWER (which doesnt mean it's better, usually the rider makes the difference). Rider, HP, Gearing, and Tires are things on the quad... in that order... that come to my mind when i think "who will win".

edit: lol @ ATC_KING... alot of people will be angry with you... comparing a YFZ to a 250ex.

There are too many variables on a quad to compare which is better.

IMO, power/weight ratio and the rider are the main factors.
