Finally!!

i finally got my 400ex, but i want to get a real nice pipe for it. I cant make my mind up to which one. So can u people with experience plz tell me which one is best.

where do you ride? What type of riding do you do? A exhaust pipe really only adds a few horsepower and I have a feeling you might be making a mistake. I would first suggest shocks if you like doing big jumps and racing xc or mx and if not that I would get some nerfs, k&n filter, and bars.

Welcome to the site Renegade, and congrats on buying a great quad! I had a Yoshi pipe on my 400ex and I thought it was very trick, gave great power gains, looked great and sounded great. I recommend you do a search on 400ex pipes - you will find great information!

i had a hmf
Now i have a white bros full system
The hmf i thought was kind of loud but it had some nice power

The new HMF pipes with the powdercoating looks sweet. They recommend a slip on over the full system for built engines, which I thought was relatively strange. A pipe might not look like it has good gains on paper, but a lot of times when you put it on you can feel a big difference.

That's a bummer about the horsepower deal. With slip-ons, the Z is getting around four, but with a system, 8+.

well i saw that article on dirtwheels site and they pick the fmf powercore as the pipe of choice so i was leaning towards that 1
