Paint harder than Powerdercoat?

Eldon (NTP19) was tellin me about a type of paint that is really expecive, it's call like POC or somethin like that...but it works better than powdercoat, stops rust, can be hit w/a hammer and won't chip...he said there was a thread on here about it, but we couldn't fin it. Anyone know anything about it? thanks alot

hehe....you let me hit your por 15 coated frame with a hammer:devil fellas.....check the hardness scale on that product. it is a good product...but nothing will hold up to what we do to these quads....lol

yeah i'm orderin up some black this week! if it's UV sencative...do you have to clearcoat it? if none of yall know, i'll just ask when i call

yes...it should be coated after the clear is sprayed on. i looked into the cost...and i dont see much ...actually no beneifit as far as cost. and then having a 3 coat process....without a spray booth is askin for a lot of dust and dirt in teh paint. i will still try some....but i dont think its gonna be any easier then pc.

from what i read the hardnose paint is the way to go.
if any you guys try this let us know how it works out.
i ordered one of there catalogs ill let my friend check it out he runs a body shop ill see what he thinks about it and if he thinks he can spray it for me cheaper than getting my frame powdercoated.
